Policy and Liability Release Agreement

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By scheduling a reading and submitting payment for services provided by Cate Coffelt, you understand and agree that Cate Coffelt is not, nor does she claim to be a medical professional, veterinarian, licensed therapist, attorney, accountant or other licensed professional, and therefore can not give medical, veterinarian, legal, or tax advice. 

Any information or advice given by Cate Coffelt is for entertainment purposes and is not to be used by you in place of any medical, veterinarian, legal, tax or financial advice or diagnosis, treatment or cure for any ailment or affliction, physical or psychological in nature.

Cate Coffelt will not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of this website or as a result of any reading or appointment with Cate Coffelt or any persons, or events related thereto, and/or any actions or decisions that you may make as a

result, including without limitation, actual, incidental and/or consequential damages resulting from any claims resulting from any act or omission, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or

otherwise, including without limitation, personal injury, death, loss of income, stress (emotional or otherwise), errors or omissions, or otherwise.

Cate Coffelt does not make any representations or express warranties when conducting a reading. Readings are for entertainment purposes only.

By submitting payment for any goods or services provided by Cate Coffelt, you acknowledge that you are at least 18 years of age and have read, understand and agree to the terms of this agreement and all policies and procedures listed on this website.

REFUNDS, RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS:

REFUNDS: Payments received are considered final and no refunds will be issued.

RESCHEDULING: Please provide 48 hours notice in the event you need to reschedule your session. I will do my best to reschedule your appointment within the dates or times of your reading request, but I can not always guarantee this. You agree to the rescheduled time Cate can offer you. If you do not provide a 48 hour rescheduling notice, a refund will not be issued and the standard scheduling procedure will apply.

CANCELLATIONS: Please provide 48 hours notice in the event you need to cancel your session. You will be allowed one reschedule. If you do not provide a 48 hour cancellation notice, no reschedules or refunds will be issued.

NO SHOWS: If you fail to show up for your session or at an event regardless of reason,  NO refund will be issued.

NOTE: IF you don’t arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, Cate will consider this a no-show and no refund will be issued.

ARRIVING LATE: Please arrive for your session on time out of consideration for those that may have appointments after your scheduled time. 

If you arrive late, you may forfeit you time and your session will end at your scheduled time, no exceptions. There will be no discounts, refunds or make up time.

CANCELLATIONS BY CATE: If for any reason Cate Coffelt needs to cancel your session, she will give you the option to reschedule your appointment or she may offer you a refund.

ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANTS: You may have an additional person sitting with you during your reading for an additional fee. This must be prepaid. Please know that your person may recieve a reading as well. Cate has no control who shows up during each session.

If an additional person arrives for your session and payment has not been received for that additional person(s), Cate reserves the right to cancel the session. No refund will apply.

COMBINING SERVICES: Sorry, but Cate does not allow combining different reading services. For example, if you wish to have a Medium reading, you can not include an Animal Communication reading for the same session. You must schedule two separate sessions.

EVENTS: Please arrive at events on time. Entering events late can disprupt the energy. Cate may decide to not allow you in an event once the doors close or if you are late to an online event.

There will be no refunds for missed events, whether in-person or online.

Video Recording by Cate Coffelt

You understand and agree that Cate Coffelt may be filming during her events. In the event you receive a reading during an event, whether online or in person, you give permission for Cate Coffelt to use and share recorded video footage in any way she deems necessary to promote her business. This means you agree that your image and reading can be used on her website, and/or on social media and in any form of printed material.

RECORDING YOUR SESSIONS

You do not have permission to record any part of your session or any part of an event that you attend without the permission of Cate Coffelt.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for Cate Coffelt. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. It will notify you of the following:

• What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

• What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.

• The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.

How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect

information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to fulfill an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, send newsletters or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time

by contacting us via the email address given on our website:• See what data we have about you, if any.

• Change/correct any data we have about you.

• Have us delete any data we have about you.

• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), however, you are re-directed to a third party provider when making payment and that information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way. We are not responsible for how these parties secure your personal information as we have no control or access to how they provide and ensure security for collected data. You should review the security policies of these third parties, e.g.: PayPal, etc.

We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally

identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Registration

In order to use this website, a user must first complete the Request Session form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address).

This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest.

Orders

We request information from you on our Request Session form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and email address) Financial information (like credit card

number, expiration date) is submitted through PayPal. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this

information to contact you.

Cookies

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance,

when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site. Some of our business partners may use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers).

However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

We partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for theseservices, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party

to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable

information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Surveys & Offers

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or offers. Participation in these surveys or offers is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and

therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level).

Contact information will be used to notify participants. Survey information will be used for

purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Client Confidentiality

Receiving a reading is very personal and can be a transformative experience. I believe that the

relationship between client and myself is based on trust so you can feel safe in knowing that

information shared during a session will remain confidential.

Additional Information

Prices are subject to change without notice. You can be assured however, that your rate will be

locked in if you've already paid for and scheduled a session.
