Cate is a self taught artist who draws landscapes, seascapes and animal portraits in colored pencil and pastels.
She reignited her passion for art after moving out of her home state a couple of years ago.
She remembers her love for art as a child and her artwork being displayed in the halls of her junior high school.
Cate is extremely grateful to have her current work accepted into both the Iowa and Southern California’s pastel society juried shows for 2025.
She feels creativity can touch one’s soul and can be used as tool for healing.
